Wandering through the woods

[Zero]

I was wandering around in the woods when I stopped and liked up. What a beautiful day. Too bad sun hurts. I go lean against a tree as I just watch the world around me.

[Asuka]

I walk through the woods and see a man leaning against a tree. I walk to where I can see him better but stay hidden hoping he didn't hear me approach him.

[Zero]

I hear a twig snap. "I know you're there. Just come out." I turn to where the noise came from. I see a girl hiding. I approach her. "I won't bite you."

[Asuka]

"Nice to know I won't bite you either until you deserve it, stay your distance though." I say as I step out. "I'm guessing since you said that you are a vampire?"

[Zero]

"Yes, but it's an expression..." Once the girl is out, I bow. "I am Zero. You are?"

[Asuka]

I laugh sarcasticly "it wasn't very funny either I'm Asuka." I say as he bows thinking damn this dude is classy.

[Zero]

"Nice to meet you Asuka." I stop and study her. Wow, she's pretty cute. "What brings you out here?"

[Asuka]

"What else something to eat," I say pulling out my canteen and sitting down as I take a drink from it.

[Zero]

At the mention of food, my stomach starts to growl. "Haha I guess I could go for a bite as well."

[Asuka]

"Well I was tracking some dear but they got spooked when a," I say the second half with a hushed tone trying to avoid him hearing it "cute goof walked into the woods." I pull out another canteen and offer it to him.

[Zero]

I start to laugh. "You do know I have better hearing than most being a vampire and all." I pull out a canteen of my own. "I have my own but thanks for the offer."

[Asuka]

"Okay then what did I say?" I ask as I put my second canteen away and take another drink.

[Zero]

"You called some guy that walked into the woods a cute goof. And seeing as I am the only guy here..." I smile at the girl as I take a drink from my canteen.

[Asuka]

"Well that may be so but um... Um stuff yeah." I say as I drink smiling back at him thinking and I just screwed my chances.

[Zero]

I walk up to the girl and then stop and stare at her for a while. Finally I smile and lean in and kiss her on the cheek. "You're cute too."

[Asuka]

I blush then try to shove him away from me "don't do that. I don't know you."

[Zero]

I grin at her. "That is true." I sit down next to her and can't help but keep staring. Come on! all I want is one kiss!

[Asuka]

"Well you look good yourself if you didn't know my thoughts on how you look." I say jokingly as I shift my sword so it is more comfortable.

[Zero]

I notice her sword and get a bit nervous. She could kill me any second. I have no weapons to defend myself. "N-Nice sword."

[Asuka]

I feel him be nervous as he says something about my sword, "if I wanted to kill you I would have already trust me, but thanks it was my mom's and her mom's before that it is also the only thing I have of her's I got it the night she died." I pull the sword out and show him how sharp the blade is just to scare him a little bit.

[Zero]

I gulp at the sight of the blade. Could really use a weapon right about now. "I-It's a really nice blade."

[Asuka]

I set it down and think for a second "want to know how I got it and how my mom died? I mean it is a sad story but in the end it has a big turn of irony."

[Zero]

I feel a sense of relief now that the sword is down. "I guess sure."

[Asuka]

"Well it was awhile back I was dating this guy and he turned out to be a vampire I didn't know it at the time though so one night I had him over for dinner and he asked me into the back room then he killed my family after turning me. When I learned of what he had done I grabbed my mom's sword off the wall and killed him." I say the last part trying to scare him some more as I place my hand on the hilt of the blade.

[Zero]

I just stare at her trying not to show fear. "I see."
