Sterling brings a sundae to one of the tables, when he is tripped by some kid who had the audacity to do so. Once he got up(sundae unscathed), he flipped his finger at the kid and walked off

"Oh, um, sure thing." I get up and kiss her on the cheek and run towards the kitchen trying to hide my embarrassment. I come back with a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate and caramel drizzle on top. As a joke I put in a ring that you'd find in store-bought cupcakes that was shaped like a fish.

Marion smiles softly, and blushes a little. Once she come back with the the desert, I smile softly and begin to eat. "Thank you Rya."

"You're welcome." I hope she likes it! I smile some more at her as I watch her eat. My stomach starts to growl. I could use something to eat myself.

Marion keeps eating until she feels the spoon hit something. "Whats this?" She scoops it out and puts it into her mouth to clean it off. She Takes it out of her mouth a looks at the ring. "Is this for me?"

My mother bursts into the bar looking already drunk. "Where the fuck is the beer? I need to drink this headache away! I hear the beer is great over here!" She stumbles to the waitress and leans in, her breath laced with liquor.
"Mother! I worked for that money so we can eat! Stop wasting all the money I get on your stupid emotions!" I busted out without thinking and instantly regretted it.
My mother slowly turned to me and glared, "who do you think you are to order me around, bitch?" She stumbled over to me and raised her hand to strike. I winced and waited for the blow to come with closed eyes.

Stering saw the girl about to get corrected and immediatly jumped over the table. He then stuck his staff between the two. "I'm not going to tolerate drunkenness in my bar, so I suggest you had end your belligerent rhetoric, you delusional fatass."

My mother looks bewildered at him. After regaining her wits, she mumbles nasty insults as she staggers over to the bar table and wait to get what she came for.
I rubbed my arm shamefully and looked at the floor, "thank you for that." I sit at a table and wait for my mother, knowing that she won't be able to go home alone.
