The Weapon Crafter[open]

[Tom Bluemann]

I walk into town and walk into a weapon shop. An old craftsman had given me a job here crafting and selling various weapons. He even agreed to let me keep 40% of the profits I make. Now I just had to wait for my first customer.

[Zinres]

I walk into the weapon shop hoping to find a backup weapon for myself. I stroll through the racks before spotting someone and walk up to them "Hi, I'm looking for something..."

[Tom Bluemann]

I notice a lady come in. "Um, what kind of weapon are you looking for?"

[Zinres]

I grin widely "Some sort of metal whip... bladed along the entire length." I say as I lean on the counter. "Something well made since it needs to last a long time."

[Tom Bluemann]

"Well...I don't think we have anything like that here". I quietly chuckle. "But, I can make you something like that if you're willing to wait a bit".

[Zinres]

"I have all the time in the world." I say before standing up a large coin appearing in my hand and flicking it into the air and catching it. "I hope you know what your doing though... I don't accept mediocre work."

[Tom Bluemann]

"You don't need to worry about that, I've been crafting weapons of all sorts for many years. Although, it's not often I get a request quite like yours". I then begin to go to work on the bladed metal whip.

[Zinres]

I had followed him to the forging area and watched him work. "I need it for a bit of... taming." I say as I shuffle a deck of cards. "How long will it take? I know flexible connections for the whip will be hard to make last."

[Tom Bluemann]

"I've been doing this for almost 2 centuries, so this won't take much longer". I pointed towards a chair at one end of the room. "You can take a seat over there if you like"

[Zinres]

I stay standing as I really get into playing with my cards. The cards flying and arching into the air, spinning and falling artfully. "Great... now how to pay...?"

[Tom Bluemann]

"Well, you can pay by cash, or check if you got it". I continue crafting the weapon

[Zinres]

"Hmm... I don't suppose you'd like to make a bet?" I say as my hands calm down the cards all falling into place.

[Tom Bluemann]

"A bet you say? Well, you've certainly got me intrigued". I put the almost finished weapon on the table in the middle of the room. "What did you have in mind?"

[Zinres]

"It's quite simple. I give you choice of a few games to play and if you win I'll... pay double what you would have charged but if I win it's free." I say smiling

[Tom Bluemann]

I chuckle "Fair enough. So, what games are there to choose from?"

[Zinres]

I hold out the deck of cards "The first is find the correct card... out of 5." I then hold out my other hand were a single coin and a die is held "The others are a simple toss of the coin or high number wins on a single roll."

[Tom Bluemann]

I gave it some thought and then I decided. "Well, the coin toss will give me the highest chance of winning, so I'll choose that".

[Zinres]

I flick my hands the die and cards vanishing up my sleeves before tossing the coin high into the air "Call it."

[Tom Bluemann]

I watch the coin closely as it flips through the air. "Heads!"

[Zinres]

I hold out my palm the coin landing soundly. I don't even flick my eyes downward before declaring "You lose." holding my arm out for him to see.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Well then..." I sigh. "I'm a man of my word". I grab the whip and hand it to her. "Here it is"

Karnov a massive man had watched the game play out and he gives a bellowing laugh "HAHAHA the lass be getting easy pickins" he claps as he walks into the forging area.

[Tom Bluemann]

I turn my attention to the man that had someone came in without me noticing. "Might I ask who you're supposed to be?"

[Shrade]

Karnov chuckles "the name be Karnov I'm here to borrow ye forge mines broken down at home" he smirks at the girl "ah a good ol whip not many have a use for dem these days"

[Tom Bluemann]

"You need to borrow the forge? I guess...as long as you don't leave me something to clean up".
