   Background/History: When Jake was a kit, he was abandoned by his parents. He was put in a box and placed outside an older woman's house. The lady came out and took him in. She had a few cats, and almost put him back outside when she saw his tail and ears. But she quickly grew fond of him, raising him as her own. He grew up calling the lady nanny, and becoming friends with her cats. When he was ten, his favorite cat named Delilah died of old age. The young boy cried for hours, but suddenly his skin became covered in fur. He shifted into a small cheetah with odd stripes, a king cheetah. Nanny still accepted Jake though, petting and loving him. Jake dug a grave for Delilah with his paws then mourned for awhile longer. When he was done mourning he shifted back, becoming his usual self again. Nanny kept loving him until she died when he was 15. She had helped him learn how to transform freely, giving him the love he needed. After mourning for many days after her death, he left. He lived in the town, wandering the streets by day and hunting in the forest by night. He loves cats with all his heart, and never would harm one.
   Personality: Jake is much like a cat. He is cold and mean to strangers, being rude and pointing out their faults. He is a cat in many senses, hissing at others sometimes, often relying on his cheetah senses and speed to deal with others. Over time he started staying in the forest more often, not spending much time in the city anymore. But, once he starts to get to know you, he becomes cuddly and friendly, the cat that used to cuddle with Nanny for hours. The boy who played pranks and laughed. The boy that became buried the day Nanny died.
