"If it means anything, I have been here in centuries, so i doubt someone else has found it." I smile softly and look up at the sky as well. "So you are one wiht this forest huh? Must be something." I try to hide my jealousy a little as I pull out the rose from my scarf and twirl it between my fingers.

Mayumi stares out into the flower fields and the forest beyond in thought. " Well it's not all fun and games , as the forest guardian i have to be able to feel anything in the forest that may be dangerous. Looking out for the forest and the creatures that are here is a very important job."

"Would have been useful centuries ago." I sigh softly as I pick a leaf of of the tree I'm in and put some of my magical energy into it, making it a small origami poodle thing.

"Yes, I'm seven hundred years old and before I turned, my family got killed by angels in this very forest." I hold back my tears as I talk about my past and my family that is long since dead.

Mayumi sensing pain and sadness from you walks over to you and squeezes your hand lightly, not sure what to say.

I let her hold my hand as I lay in the tree. "Did the angels cause you to lose anything?"

Mayumi thinks unsure about that too. " I was raised by the elders and people in my village since i was young, i don't know if i had any parents or family actually..". 'now that i think about it, i never questioned how or why i was there...'. Mayumi on the outside has an unreadable expression, while being confused and uncertain inside.

"I can't help you there, your kind rarely shows themselves to other people." I shrug softly as I jump down from the tree I was in. "I think I should be heading back to the city now."

Mayumi, having been lost in her minds thoughts, blinks registering what you said. " I see, well bye." she says as she picks up her herb basket and the last herb she was looking for, before turning to a path that leads deeper into the forest.

Mayumi continues walking down the path until she's not in your view anymore. She thinks 'Hm, he may not be a bad person..' and continued walking towards the middle of the forest.
