I saw Eliza fall over along with the Drakonian ready to counter my charge "The only way I can beat this guy is if I get up close! Let's just hope I can keep up Life Force Booster for just a bit longer!" I think to myself. I then position the sword to slash at him with all my might.

Eliza coughed, laying on the ground. She held her hand over the cut, looking at Tom. Tears pooled in her eyes, and she tried to get up.

Ryun proceeded to attempt a parry maneuver with his lightning sword and aimed the rapier st the shoulder at which tom was holding his blade. While in the midst of the, Ryun did take notice to Eliza's movements and spoke during motion " Stay down, I only gave you a non-lethal slash with slight bleeding. If you try to move you'll open up the wound and cause serious damage."

"If that wasn't mean to kill, why did you do it?!" I said in head as I use my sword to move his lightning rod out if the way. Giving me enough room to kick him in the gut with the last of life force booster's strength. As I'm kicking the rapier goes into my sword-wielding dominate shoulder. "GAH!"

Eliza laid on the ground, feeling bad. Now Tom was fighting for her, while she did nothing. She flicked her hand, whispering "Blood darts." They went flying at Ryuns back, at 60mph.

"This is going to hurt a little, but it should keep everyone alive." Ryun proceed to use a maneuver that would most likely end this fight without any vital injuries. He retracted his wing to lighten his weight and used the impaled rapier as a focal point. He used his dragon strength to lift his body above the kick and to take the dart in the legs to keep them from impaling tom too. This movement would flip Ryun over Tom while also causing immense pain, mostly likely enough to make him pass out due to it, due to the rapier digging in and doing a downward slashing motion inside the wound. While over Tom, Ryun took one last measure to make sure this would make this the last move of the fight. He shot Lightning Roar at point-blank range while tom was injured and most likely in immense pain. It was a somewhat weakened roar, but still with enough power to knock a man out.

I felt intense pain, so much I couldn't utter a sound. Sure, it was quite apparent I wouldn't be able to move right away after this, but the adrenaline of it all somehow keep my conscience for the entirety of it, as if I had felt worse, then I realized I had bared the pain of death, and this seemed to pale in comparison, despite the fact this current beating hurt like hell.

"Tom! No!" Eliza cried, and crawled over to him. He wound hurt and started to bleed more, but she didn't care. All that mattered to her was Tom. She crawled over to him, crying. She looked at Ryun with hate. "You monster!" She yelled at him, then turned back to Tom. She gently placed a hand on his head, parting his hair. "Tom..." She whined, holding his head.

"He is just knocked out nothing more. At least y'all will be sharing a hospital bed together." Ryun picked up both Tom and Eliza and flew off to the nearest Hospital. When they arrived he told the doctors to give them a room alone to themselves. Ryun left for now figuring by the time tom woke up, some of the pain would have been gone.

I wake up to find myself in a hospital bed. The instant I did, I felt quite a bit of pain, but it was considerably more tolerable then the pain I experienced when the Drakonian beat the hell out of me. My head hurt so I placed my hand on it. "Ow...man, what happened? I think I lost conscience when he stopped beating me up..."

Eliza looked as Tom finally woke up. She smiled brightly, struggling out of her bed. The hospital wasn't feeding her, and she was growing weak. "You did, but we are at the hospital now. I I I'm so sorry Tom... I couldn't protect you, and now we are in the hospital. Haku won't be as nice... How will I protect you from him?" She asked, looking like she might start crying any second. She kneeled next to his bed.

I force myself to sit up. "Well...while it was kind of embarrassing to taken down by someone who significantly weaker then an angel, it just shows me that I've still got a long way to go in getting stronger...Perhaps upping my training regimen a bit should help with that..." I wince, but then I pull a smile. "Of course...I've gotta heal up first..."

At this time a nurse came in carrying a pot of flowers. "These came in and the person who brought asked to give them to you two when y'all were both awake." The nurse placed them on a table between the two. There also laid a letter in the flowers that read "You two love birds have fun in the hospital together, and maybe discuss things that you both need to. Also if you wish to grow stronger, you can find me usually at the library learning up on things.

Eliza smiled at him gently, but tears pooled in her eyes. "I am just a weight for you to carry..." She whimpered, looking at him wince. "Why can't I do anything for you?" She asked, sighing. She wanted to touch him, but wasnt sure where he was hurt. She felt like a useless lump. She looked at the nurse, tempted to feed on her. Tom had seen that face before, fighting losing control. She regained it after a moment, and she took the letter. She read it aloud, blushing when he called them love birds. "Im going to train with him." She stated.

I take a look at the letter as well, focusing on the training part "Same, perhaps picking up on the styles and techniques of a Drakonian might just give us an edge over some obstacles that happen to come up". I smile at her. "It's be a collaboration effort".

Eliza smiled weakly at him. Her eyes flickered briefly, but she didn't notice. "Yeah, we will be a force to be reckoned with." She laughed tiredly. She continued to smile, but she seemed to be thinking.

"Yeah, I suppose so..." I then look up at the ceiling. "You wanna know something? When we were fighting that Drakonian, and he was knocking the tar out of me, I should have been knocked out when that bolt struck me...but I wasn't...that didn't happen until after he was done".

Eliza looked at him gently. She was really pale, and her eyes flickered again and she felt it that time. She gasped and struggled to her feet, using his bed for support. "I have to get out of here." She mumbled, but her legs were too weak. She tried to get out of the room, but fell to her knees.

I knew what she meant, the only problem was, I could hardly move, and whatever movements I could do, made me feel sore. And even if I could move with no problem, I didn't have the blood extraction device and little bowl with me, as the bag I carried them in wasn't in the room. Regardless, I managed to climb out a bed, having to support myself by placing my hand on my hospital bed. "I know you do".

Eliza panted and gasped as the waves started coming. She stiffened as it tried to take her with it, but she clung on to the rock of consciousness. During the low she looked at Tom, and she was scared. She was scared she would hurt him. She gulped again, looking away.

Conveniently I knew 2 things: First of all, the room Eliza and I were placed in has a window. Secondly, the building we were in was relatively close to the cave I took her to last time. I use wind cannon to blow the window out, and then I grab her. "Hang on just a little longer Eliza!" I knew Life Force Booster wasn't an option at the moment due to my current state, so I tried to muster up the most powerful wind cannon I could to fly us over to the cave out of town.

Eliza yelped as he grabbed her, but she was angry too. Soon they were at the cave, but Eliza was glaring at him. "You should have saved your energy to heal." She told him, then yelped as another wave hit. She sighed after a moment as it left. She looked at him. "Idiot." She said as she kneeled on the ground.

"We both know it was priority to get you to some place isolated". I wince. "Besides, I can bear quite a bit a pain without healing first" I stumble out of the cave. "I'll be outside". I got myself onto an area that I could concentrate on using Life Force Flux and began to heal myself.
