Small 'Hunting' Trip

[Eliza]

Eliza smiled gently as she slowly walked the streets. After a little while she entered a small shop, with a quite a few people inside. She mixed in with the crowd, looking for her next meal. She heard a few cat calls, and winked at the offenders. If only they knew what she was here for, they'd be running.

[Tom Bluemann]

I'm walking though town on a search for something to eat. I then turn a corner and bump into someone. I land on my rump. "Oof!"

[Eliza]

Eliza looked down at the boy who bumped into her. Her eyes turned icy as recognition spread across her face. "Well hello there. Are you volunteering?" She purred, offering a hand to help him up. Her nails were painted blood red.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Uh....no, just looking for something to eat". I look at her and shudder. "I hate it when she almost makes me wet myself" I thought to myself.

[Eliza]

Eliza kept her hand before him. "Oh, what a coincidence. So am I." She purred. "Well, at least let me help you up." She asked, sounding sincere.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Alright then..." I let her help me up. "So...what now?"

[Eliza]

Eliza's face drooped. "I see we are both looking for food, but sadly you don't seem to want to help me with that..." She sighed. "Well, I haven't asked actually, even though I know the answer. Would you help me?" She purred, expecting a no.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Uh...sure, I'm sure you'll both find something worth eating if we combine our efforts. Besides..." I chuckle a bit "I hardly know my way around this place, despite being here so many times".

[Eliza]

(He doesn't seem to remember that she is a vampire, haven't they already met?)
Eliza chuckled. "Silly boy, that's not what I mean." She said, stepping closer to him. "By help, I don't mean help finding a meal." She hinted, hoping he wasn't that dense.

[Tom Bluemann]

(That's kind of the way he is, so pardon that XD)
I tense up "You mean you want to feed on my blood...?"

[Eliza]

(It's ok, I was confusing myself like an idiot)
Eliza laughed. "Of course that's what I mean. But since I know you a little, I'll ask permission first." She purred, smiling.

[Tom Bluemann]

I get a bit defensive. "For your information, I'm 200 years old".

[Eliza]

Eliza blinked, surprised. But she wasn't one to show emotion. "Ok. But that doesn't matter to me." She purred, not caring; blood was blood to her.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Alright..." I wanted to step back but my legs refused to move.

[Eliza]

Eliza smiled. "Well, now, this is a surprise. I expected you to say no, unless I didn't understand you? Last chance." She purred, stomach protesting her hesitation. Yes, she was giving her prey a chance to escape, something Eliza never did.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Believe me I want to, but my legs seem to be frozen in place" I thought to myself. "Has this girl gotten me for fearful of her then of Haku?". This and other thoughts become so jumbled up in my head I couldn't even mutter a word.

[Eliza]

Eliza continued smiling. "Well, that was your chance. Come along, this isn't something I do in public." She said, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards an ally. She knew if he honestly didn't want to, he would get able to fight her off. But if he simply said no, she would stop, but kept this to herself.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Nyeh!" I am dragged along into an ally. I physically tried to make the effort to try and say something but I couldn't get any words out. It was driving me crazy.

[Eliza]

Eliza turned once they were half way between each side of the ally, and pushed him against a wall, hands on his shoulders. "I do feel a little bad since I know you, plus I thought I heard something like no. You sure about this?" She said, actually sounding concerned. Her face was new too. She gently bit a lip with her normal teeth, and her eyes were soft as she looked at him. She never showed this side to anyone but her long dead brother and her parents. Her caring side. Maybe it was because Tom looked like him, she didn't know. But she wanted to know he was willing, or she wouldn't forgive herself.

[Tom Bluemann]

Looking at her seemly brand new face made made mine grow red. It was then I finally managed to get myself to speak. "N-no....I'm not". Given my legs still felt like jelly, I could hardly stand.

[Eliza]

Eliza turned her head away, looking like she might cry. "I knew it. I'm sorry Casper." She said, then turned back to him. "I-I mean Tom." She said, looking flustered. She took her hands off his shoulders, stepping back and holding one arm with the other, looking down at the ground. She was remembering Casper, and it caused a tear to fall from her eye.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Casper?" I had gotten interested in this statement. "I-if you don't mind me asking, who is this Casper you just spoke of?" I thought to myself "Way to go Tom, you made yourself sound like someone out of the Middle ages"

[Eliza]

Eliza looked up at him, another tear falling, then sat down on a nearby box and looked away from him. "I'll be leaving town soon, so it doesn't matter if I tell you. Casper... Was my brother. I was about 9 when he died. My family was hiding in an apartment one night, when suddenly they sensed something. My parents argued while Casper hid me in a cabinet. I watched through a hole as they were killed by... Something. I still don't know what they were. Last thing Casper told me was, be strong even in death. I miss him terribly." Eliza said solemnly, not looking at him. When she did, tears poured down her face as she hugged her knees.

I felt sympathy for her. I then pull up another box and sit down next to her. I then try to comfort her. "There, there...". I gently place my hand on her shoulder. "As your brother would say, you need to be strong...even through death". "Nice, now your using someone else's words as your own to try and comfort someone who is probably sensitive about it" I think to myself.

[Eliza]

Eliza looked at him gently, wiping away the endless stream of tears that quickly appeared again. "You look a lot like him." She whispered, hugging her knees closer. "And I know he's, you're right, but I can't stop crying. It hurts... My heart hurts." She started crying harder, despite her obvious efforts to stop.
