"That would explain why she had to correct herself earlier" I thought to myself. "Well...there isn't much use crying about it now, I mean, what would your brother think if he was here right now and saw you crying?"

Eliza sniffled. "He'd-He'd probably tell me to get off my butt, live with it, and continue on. But it feels so much better to cry myself out." She whimpered. "Looks like I'll have to wait to feed. I'm not seducing anyone while my eyes are red and puffy." She sniffled, thinking she looked really bad. Her stomach protested loudly to the idea, and she simply sniffled again, looking at the ground.

I felt bad for her and I tried to come up with a solution to help her. I drew to the conclusion that I was gonna have to suck it up and let her draw some blood from me. I sigh. "I know I'm probably gonna regret this, but I'll allow you to feed..."

Eliza looked at him with shock. "B-but if you regret it , I'll-I'll feel bad for the rest of my life. I couldn't ever hurt y-you. You're too much like him." She sniffled, stomach protesting again. Why was it so loud at all of the wrong moments?

Eliza sighed, wondering if how much longer she would be able to even talk to him. She could smell him, and soon she may be unable stop herself. She'd get away before them, she decided. "He was cute, for a brother. He was always teasing me, telling me I was fat, or that I was ugly when I cried. But when it really mattered, he had my back, just like he had then. He was polite, and caring, and always looked out for me. We were really close..." She sighed, tears finally stopped falling, but she still hugged her knees.

I pat her back. "Sounds like a good older brother. I haven't had a family in so long I don't even remember stuff like that. I suppose that way of looking at it makes you lucky I guess". "Man do I suck at consoling people" I thought to myself.

Eliza nodded. "I guess the fact that I knew him, and had him for nine years is better then not having him at all." She whimpered, shivering a little as a breeze blew threw the ally. Unconsciously, she scooted over and leaned into him slightly, head resting on his shoulder. "Warm..." She murmured, inhaling his scent with a deep breath.

A breeze blew through the ally, but surprisingly, I didn't so much as shiver. Then I notice her leaning on me. I blush a bit, but I didn't say anything.

Eliza blinked as her teary eyes came back into focus, and realized what she was doing. "I'm sorry!" She stammered, scooting back over to her spot, no longer hugging her knees. Her hands rested at her sides, and she looked at the ground blushing.

Eliza smiled a little. "Well, emotionally I guess..." She murmured. She wiped off her teary face, sniffling a little. "Was my brother right? Am I ugly when I cry?" She asked, looking at him. Her eyes were a little red and puffy, her cheeks were tear soaked, but her normally pretty face still shown through.

"Nah, you still look fine to me". I place my hand gently on her shoulder. "We should probably get out of this alley though".

Eliza smiled gently, getting off the box. "Ok. Let's get you something to eat." She said kindly, looking over her shoulder at him, smiling. Her stomach growled again, but she ignored it.

"Alright then". I get up and follow her out of the dark alley. *Growl* My face grows a bit red.

Eliza laughed. "Looks like I'm not the only one." She chuckled, then walked out of the ally. She looked around for a small shop to get some food from. Regular food, for tom. She reminded herself when she began looking at the nearby humans, returning her gaze to the shops themselves.

I look around, making sure to keep up with her. I see all kinds of places around, but almost none that seemed to have food. "Man, who knew it was so hard to find a good place to eat around here..." I thought to myself.

Eliza sighed, and took a deep breath, scenting for any regular food. There was a weak scent to her right, too far away, but to her left, there was a stronger scent. Smiling, she grabbed Toms hand and started towards the scent. "This way!" She purred, happy.

"Whoa!" I blush a bit as she grabs my hand and leads me toward some food that I just then could start to smell.

Eliza stopped in front of the shop that she had met Tom in. Recognizing it, she blushed. "This is the source of the scent..." She breathed, hoping he didn't recognize it. That'd be embarresing!

Eliza smiled sheepishly. "This is where I saw you talking to that girl, what was her name? Serena?" She said with a little laugh. She didn't realize she was still holding his hand.

"Oh, I guess I did do that". I chuckle a bit and then I realized we were still holding hands. I blushed a bit.

Eliza looked at him, then gripped tighter on his hand and pulled him inside. "Let's not stand outside the store like doofuses!" She laughed, then pulled him over to a seat, sitting in the seat on the other side of the table.

I smirked "I guess you got a point there". I laugh as well. While sitting down I look around. "What's odd is, I don't think I even ate anything the last time I was here".
