Eliza listened intently, eyes filled with horror. "Why, how..." She stammered before taking a quick deep breath. "That's horrible. Absolutely horrible. Haku must be a monster. But I'm lucky you lived so I could meet you." She said, blushing a little.

I blushed a bit as well "Unfortunately, I know the position he's in, and it makes sense he'd be after me". I sigh. "Doesn't mean I want it to continue..."

I could be seen sitting on top of a rock , surprisingly wearing just a pair of white pants and a red sleeveless shirt completely unarmed. " I do it to serve my people, which you so rudely denied their kindness. Either way I have a much bigger problem than you at the moment. So as of now, you aren't target." I continued to sit there starring at the vampire, who seemed to be somewhat attached to Tom.

I grow tense as I stare at Haku. "Denied their kindness? Your people put me to work crafting weapons for the war, and the humans were being used by your people to an extent that I couldn't bear with anymore". I then process the last thing he said. "What could possibly be higher on your list then taking me out?"

Eliza suddenly stood up upon hearing a voice. After hearing the first sentence she moved to stand in front of Tom. She bared her fangs until he spoke more. She seemed to relax a little. "I'm going to assume he's Haku?" She growled, looking less than pleased with his presence. She was interested with what Tom said, but would ask later. Right now there was a threat on a rock she was more interested in.

I place my hand on her shoulder. "Not a good idea, we're both weakened. Not to mention that even at my full strength, he'd bring me down with relative ease".

"Settle vampire, I have no quarrel with you. And to answer you tom" I toss him a black book with a mark to a specific page " A fallen angel by the name of Asura." The page gave a name, picture and a small paragraph saying that Asura had murder multiple angels. The emotions of pain, sadness, and anger could be seen on his face " Even you couldn't find a reason for that man to live, and I refue to let him."

I pick up the book and open it the the bookmarked page. And it disgusted me. "I suppose you've got a point there, I can't think of one redeeming factor in someone who kills their own kind". I close the book. "I suppose you want this book back?"

Eliza growled again, but relaxed into his hand. "if you have a quarrel with Tom you have a quarrel with me." She mumbled. She then moved to stand beside Tom to look in the book too. She was quite interested in it. She kept an eye on Haku though. When he shut the book she moved over a little, glaring daggers at Haku. She still didn't like him.

"Yes I would like my book back." Haku got up to retrieve it, while forming a longsword out of complex shapes and held it in one hand "This is only a weapon for protection, seeing as your little girlfriend apparently wants to show off" I went and picked up my book " And remember Tom, you will be next." I stood there about to return to the rock.

Eliza growled as he got closer to them with the sword. "One aggressive move and I'll do more than show off." She hissed. As he stood there she was tempted to try and attack him, but didn't. He'd probably kill her and Tom and she knew it. As she heard his last sentence, she hissed again. "I'll be waiting." She growled. "Now back off." She hissed, fist clenching and unclenching.

Haku sighs as he manage to get back to the rock. He stopped and looked over his shoulder and spoke in a somewhat mono-tone voice saying "Be careful till we meet again. I will be the last person you fight, and you better make sure of that. And to you miss vampire, I won't hesitate to cut you down of I have to. I won't like it but I will do what I have to to uphold my duty as an archangel." At this point, six wings, glowing a somewhat holy white, appeared as I disappeared into the outside.

"Talk about a flashy exit..." I rub my bruised arm. "We will most definitely see about that Haku, I'm getting stronger each day!" I thought to myself.

Eliza kept up her angry face until Haku left, then it quickly fell to a sad, horror filled one. Instantly she hugged Tom, arms around his rib cage, tears silently falling. "He's very powerful. Very. But I'll still fight him for you." She whispered, tears falling onto the ground behind him.

Eliza sniffled again. "I really like you Tom. I like you a lot." She whimpered, not moving. "More than a friend... Even if you don't... Feel the same..." She breathed, realizing her true feelings. Eliza was fast to cling to things once she thought she could, fast to love. It was part of her flaws.

Eliza noticied he didn't say anything. At all. She let go and backed up. "I-I'm sorry... I... I'm still a monster I know... H-How could you like a monster? I'm lucky to have you even as just a friend. What's wrong with me... I'm so stupid... I'm sorry... I-I should leave now so you don't have to deal with a lovesick puppy like me." She said, and began walking to leave the cave. Suddenly she began sobbing horribly as it felt like her heart dropped and froze. 'What is wrong with me? Why am I so quick to trust... To... Love. I'm such a fool. How could he love a monster like me? Why? Why do I feel like this... Why can't I be more subtle? Be nicer? Why can't I be more like Casper, and mom, and dad...' She asked as her mind felt bombarded with more questions and doubts than that as she cried. She started to walk faster, obviously preparing to run.

Eliza stopped, but didn't look at him. "I'm sorry. I've probably made things really awkward haven't I?" She asked, half giggling at the thought. She sniffled, doubting her own sanity. Why did she cling to him so quickly?
