Zuriel brought out an arrow and showed her how to nock it and hold it. Then he told her to aim at the tree he had fired at, and pull back on the string.
(I feel really lazy right now .-.)

Eden's arm jerked around uncontrollably and she spun around. "My arm hurts."

Zuriel narrowly dodged her. "Its ok. Let me help you." He said, reaiming her. He helped her pull back the string.

"Why is the string so hard to pull on?" Eden's face reddened as she aimed.

Zuriel smiled. "Because its set for my strength." He said, helping her aim "Now release the string." He said, waiting for her to release. The second she did he did.

"Pah!" Eden let go and rubbed her fingers. She turned around, "my fingers hurt!" She showed her hand to him.

Zuriel gently touched her fingers, cooling them. "It happens sometimes." He told her.

Eden looked at her fingers then back to Zuriel. "If I keep doing it, will I be as good as you?" She looked down at the bow in deep thought.

Zuriel nodded. "Yep. I just have had years to practice." He said gently, smiling.

"How long?" Eden handed him the bow back.

Zuriel shrugged. "I dont know. I got good with it after about two weeks. I became really good after a month or two." He said.

Eden nodded. "Can I do that one day?" She pointed to the tree he shot at.

Eden bounced once and gave Zuriel a big smile. "Can I watch you hunt?" She put her hands together and turned her body side to side, blinking her eyes at him. "Please?" She smiled bigger.

Zuriel thought for a moment. "Sure. But you cant cry, and you have to be quiet, ok?" He said.

Zuriel smiled, and hooked his pinky with hers. "Good. Now let's go!" He said happily, and started to walk through the forest, eyes watching with an arrow nocked and ready.

Eden followed close behind and looked around for any animals. She spotted a bunny a few yards away and tugged on Zuriel's shirt. "Is that one good?" With a a little finger, Eden pointed to the right at a small rabbit behind a bush with its head sticking out.

Zuriel nodded, instantly turning to the rabbit, aiming, and firing. He hit it between the eyes, and it fell to the ground. He looked at Eden for a reaction.

Eden started to sniffle but then remembered what Zuriel said. "Nice shot!" She ran over to the rabbit and picked it up after to much hesitation.

Zuriel noticed her hesitation and sighed. "Remember, while it was alive it struggled for food and shelter. Now it's in bunny heaven." He said gently, grabbing the rabbit from her. He gently took the arrow out, and put it in his hunting backpack.

Eden nodded and wiped her hands on her dress. "If I die, will I go there, too?"

Zuriel nodded. "Yes, but you will go to human heaven. But don't you go there yet, your big sister, Levious, and I will miss you, ok?" He said with a gentle smile.

Eden giggled, "of course not, silly! I'm not gonna die until I've seen the whole world!" She thought a little before asking, "will you go to human heaven, too?"
