Jake purred a little as her fingers went though his hair. "It's ok. I understand why you wouldn't want me to hear it. I'll still be here for you, no matter what you say, ok?" He said, petting her head again. His tail touched hers again.

"Ok." I smile and use my tail to play with his. He knows how I feel about him. Now, I wonder how he feels about me.

Jake chuckled a little, and moved his tail so it poked hers playfully. He gently moved a strand of hair from her face. "You know, you are cute. But did you know you are beautiful too?" He asked, smiling.

Jake chuckled again. "No, I don't think it. I know it." He purred, nuzzling her head. He rubbed his cheek against her forehead.

Jake purred louder. "Keep this up and I'll have no choice but to fall deeper in love with you." Suddenly he stopped purring. "I, uh, I-I..." He blushed deeply, realizing what he said.

I stare at Jake, surprised at what he just said. "Y-you... Love me?" I blush and cover my face as much as I can with my tail.

Jake continued to stammer. After a moment he sighed. "Yes... Believe in love at first sight?" He said, blushing heavily. "And then I got to know you better, and I'm just falling deeper." He said, looking at the ground.

I blush and pull my head into my shirt to hide my face. In my shirt I am silently screaming out of joy. I come out expressionless with my eyes closed.

Jake suddenly paled. "I'm sorry. I'm probably out of line here..." He said, looking at the ground. He put his hand behind him on the ground. "I-I'm so sorry if I've made you uncomfortable." He added.

I run my hands through his hair again and, with my eyes still closed, kiss him. "Love at first sight...." I keep my eyes closed so not to see his reaction.

Jake blush grew heavier. He was surprised to say the very least. He didn't know what to say, to do, but as if by instinct he kissed her back, ever so gently.

I slowly opened my eyes and touched my lips. I grabbed his hand and wrapped my tail around his. I leaned against him and purred.

Jake gently squeezed her hand as it grabbed his. He laced his tail with hers, purring loudly. He started petting her hair again, gently hugging her against him.

I nuzzle Jake as I purr. My heart beats rapidly; has been since he kissed me. I hold him close and run my hand through his hair. "So soft."

Jake nuzzled her hand. "Your hair is silky." He purred, petting her head. He felt her rapid heart beat as it resonated into his chest. His heart began to beat along with hers, at the same pace.

Jake continued to purr, his ears twitching at the sound of the birds. He watched as a pure white one landed on a branch above them. "That one is really pretty." He said, pointing it out.
