I start to follow him but stop. I was too sad to go with him. I just stand there wondering what I'll do now.

I cringed at what I was about to do. "H-how about.... Ugh, crashing at my place? I have an extra room I don't use...." I brought my hand to my face at what I just did. Damn this kindness of mine, hopefully she wont accept. I wouldn't want to cause any trouble.

I looked at her and couldn't resist patter on the head and smiling at her reassuringly. "Sure you can. But, you're gonna have to take a shower..." I chuckled.

I looked away shyly and pat her on the head again. People walked by and whispered. I quickly put on my cold exterior, "yeah, whatever! Let's go already..." I put my hands in my pockets and started walking to my apartment.

I saw he put on the icy exterior and laughed. "Ok cook guy, lets go." I follow him.

I lead her to my apartment and opened the door. There was a hallway leading to the living room from the door and the kitchen connected to the living room with a wall with a small frame at the far side. To the right of the apartment were two doors, one was mine and the other was empty. A couch sat lazily in the living room with a small T.V. a few feet away. It was all clean, not a speck of dust to be seen.

I looked around. "Where's the bathroom? I need my shower." I smiled at him.

I led her to the kitchen where a door was opened wide at the end of it. "I'll throw your clothes in the washer." I motioned for a closed door at the other end of the kitchen.

I walked to the room and entered the bathroom. "When you hear the shower running, you can get my clothes." I undress and get in the shower.

I start the water and start to sing, hoping he can't hear me over the water. Suddenly, a thought occurred to me. What if my clothes aren't done? I decide that Soul will have a solution already so I go back to singing and cleaning.

I cracked the door open with hesitation and picked up the clothes in a bunch, trying not to touch anything I wouldn't want to. Throwing them in the wash, I figured letting her borrow my clothing would be a replacement until hers were done. I went to my room and picked out some sweats and a T-shirt and then put them back in the bathroom. After that, I went to the couch and fell asleep.

I finish showering and step out, the room full of steam. I dry off and find clothes for me to wear. I put them on and, although they were a bit big, they were surprisingly comfortable. I walk out of the bathroom and I see he is asleep on the couch. I walk over quietly, whisper "Thank you.", and lightly kiss him on the cheek. I walk to where I'm sleeping tonight and pass out instantly.

Several hours past and I woke up, remembering my job and rushing to get there. I would be incredibly late.

I wake up and yawn. I get out of bed and rub my eyes. I walk out of the room to find Soul is not asleep on the couch. "He left me here alone." I look around. "He didn't even bother to leave a note." I bet he ran out to hide from me. Well, I'll just stay here until he gets back. He has to come home eventually. I sit there on the couch and wait.
