"Your decision." I shrugged and went up to the cashier and whispered something into his ear, letting me go past him and through the door. "Sorry, little miss. Can't let you through." He blocks Rya's path with his arms crossed.

I reach into my pocket and pull out $20 and hand it to the cashier and watch him move. I walk in after him. "Nice try buddy."

I make my way down stairs that were hidden in the kitchen, knowing she was following. When I get to the bottom, I open another door and reveal a small room with a bunch of old men playing pool. They nod as I walk past into the next room.

I follow behind him trying not to look at the men. "Slow down! My legs are worn out after chasing you all over town."

I quicken my pace and venture down more stairs into a smoke filled room with skimpy women and dangerous looking people who give me small nods and smirk at the girl following me. When I sit at a corner table with two chairs, a woman in a bikini walks up, "want the regular, sugar?" I nod and she struts away.

I gesture for her to sit across from me. "This is where I work, you see?" The woman come back and hands me a drink, winking at the little girl as she leaves.

"Ok, but.... what is this place?" I look around while hiding behind the boy.

I pinch her shirt and swing her around so she sits in the chair across from me. "This is where adults have fun and make money, understand?" I take a sip from my drink and look around at the people and got a nod from the bartender.
In the blink of an eye, a burly man dressed in black stepped to the table. "So, this is the girl, huh Soul?" I gave him a nod and he picked her up. Soon the whole place was clapping and drunkenly singing along to the band as Rya was forcibly thrown on to a chair and carried throughout the underground bar. I took this distraction of smoke and people to my advantage and slipped away, undetected by the girl. The sun hit my face as I walked out from a trap door and I took my place at the front entrance, taking my shift.

At the sight of all these men brought back the memories. I stood up on the chair and hissed at them. I leaped off of the chair and ran out the way the guy went. The smoke was filling my lungs. I come up outside coughing. I decided if I were to chase him down any more, I'd need my energy. I go inside and see him behind the counter working. I stomp to the counter. "YOU!" I slap him. "How dare you leave me with them!"

Her hit wasn't all that bad, but it still left a small sting behind. "You wanted to follow me, so I let you. That is what happens when a new person comes along." I went back to cleaning the counter. How the hell did she even find me in that crowd?

"I hope you know I'm kicking your ass when you get off work." I order some coffee and then slap him again. "I'm waiting here too. You will not be let out of my sight." I go sit down at a table and watch him.

Still hasn't learned her lesson.... I continued on my work. Taking orders, delivering food and drinks, enjoying the times I had to make an out delivery, and most importantly getting my pay at the end of it all. I hung my apron up and scratched the back of my head. I couldn't hit a girl who looked like she could be my little sister, so I decided I would try my best to defend myself without hurting her.

I sit and wait all day, always watching him. When he's finished I stand up and stare at him. I hiss at him and lunge on to him.

I put my hand on her head and kept her at a distance. "You still mad at me?" I gave her an apologetic look.

I drop down and kick his legs out from under him. I jump on top of him and pin him to the ground. As I sit there on top of him, I stare at him and hiss.

I rolled over so I was on top of her. "Can't you just cool down?" I yelled and pinned her arms and legs. People walked in and whispered.

I hiss at him again. Then I start to laugh. I use my tail to tickle him.

Luckily, I wasn't very ticklish and ignored her tail. "Do you ever stop?" I stared into her eyes, trying to get her to see this isn't right.

I winced slightly and decided enough was enough. So I got up and offered her my hand, thinking that if she still wanted to beat me up then I guess I would have to take it. People watched and whispered, I kept my eyes to the floor.

I grab his hand and get up. I playfully punch him in the stomach. "You are a jackass, did you know that?"

I rubbed my stomach, it was sensitive after a fight I had with some guy earlier, don't know why he wanted to fight me though. "Well, your annoying, so I'm not the only one to blame here." I grinned slightly.
