Enter: the exiled angel[Open]

[Tom Bluemann]

I'm walking through a dark alley. I am wearing a hood to cover up my face. I then hear someone behind me. I turn around to see a guy with a big build wielding a knife. "You want something?".
"Yeah, all your money!"
"Sorry, but I don't think you'll be getting my money". The thug charges at me in anger trying to cut me with his knife. I think to myself "And people wonder why being in a dark alley is never a good idea". I bring my foot up to kick the knife out of his hand. I then proceed to grab his head between my two feet and slam him into the ground. I then get up, proceeding to pick up the knife. "Some talent was put into making this knife, but instead of using it to carve wood, you use it to mug others...that's just pitiful". I drop the knife on the ground and proceed to break the blade with my foot using a technique that I've grown very skilled with. I then walk out into a uncrowded street. It is night time and I had been wandering the streets all night for a good meal. "I really hope I find something to eat, or it's gonna be another round of soup at the soup kitchen..."

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling witnessed the whole fight. He was impressed at his fight. He just had to talk to him. "I saw your fight. I was highly impressed with the way you handled that fool. Tell me, what is your name?"

[Tom Bluemann]

I notice someone talking to me. 'Uh...name's Tom, what about you?"

[Nikolai Forge]

"Sterling. Pleased to make your aquaintence. So, where did you come from? I don't see many people fend off thugs like that."

[Tom Bluemann]

When this guy asked me that question I fidgeted. I figured if I told him he'd think I was on the side of the angels, who I believe have been corrupt since the beginning of the war in which resulted in my current exile. I figured to be vague with my answer "Uh...I come from out of town".

[Nikolai Forge]

"Don't worry, I know you're a Fallen Angel. I just wanted to see the reaction. I was kinda hoping that you wouldn't kill me seeing as to how I'm a demon and all"

[Tom Bluemann]

"You're a demon? Huh, couldn't tell. I have no problem with demons. It's my own corrupt race I have the problem with. I mean, it's hard to keep my loyalty to them when they enslaved a race I used to be. But I guess I should be happy. I'm pretty much how I was before coming an angel being in exile and all of that".

[Nikolai Forge]

"I never liked Angels. Always thinking they're better than everyone because they're "holy" and all that. I can see why you left, what with that Haku always douching around. Can't stand that guy. But what can we do? He's a goddamn archangel!"

[Tom Bluemann]

"Exactly why he's the last guy i wanna encounter before I obtain the skills to be able to take him on, mono a mono. I may have those awesome fighting skills as you've already seen, but the only other magic I know doesn't even effect him...that's why I need train and learn some new magic"

[Nikolai Forge]

"I see what you're getting at. I have these things called Curses which inflict a certain condition on the opposition, but seeing as to how powerful the archangel is, I doubt they'd stand a chance. I'd be elusive if I were you - He hates fallens more than anything. I don't suggest taking him on until you know that you have the swagger to do it. If you want to, we can train together sometime. I just hope he doesn't find you."

[Tom Bluemann]

"Sure, I'm up for a training session. Also, why do you think I wear the hood?" I chuckled a bit. "But yeah, he's the last guy I want to encounter in ANY circumstance"

[Nikolai Forge]

"Alright, I'll show you to this place where I always trained when I was young." Sterling motioned for an empty area around the outside of the city. "A little training never hurt anyone"

[Tom Bluemann]

"You're right about that". I look around. "So, we're doing it here?"

[Nikolai Forge]

"Yes. If you want to develop any spells, it's here." Sterling was talking about a small colosseum which featured stone walls for the hitting and spells for the developing. "I wish I had some ideas though."

[Tom Bluemann]

"Well, I guess we should start off with what I already know". I get into a fighting stance. "Start off simple, and charge at me".

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling raised his staff, which controlled the use of the majority of his spells. He then waited, thinking of a decisive strategy before fighting. "I am ready. No fatalities."

[Tom Bluemann]

"Alright then". I create a gust of wind and direct it to my opponent.

I stood on the roof of one of the buildings that made the alley, I sived through the file i held for a second time, identifying the man 'sterling' from the photo in the file, I waited silently for the battle to play out.

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling implanted his staff into the ground to keep his balance. He had a bunch of abilities he had to practice. (If you're wondering, I'm practicing my Arcane magic moveset for this battle)

[Tom Bluemann]

(Ok then)"Well, I guess I need to amp it up I bit". I increase the power of the wind gusts.

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling aimed his Arcane Shot at the Fallen. He had recently learned this and a few other moves at a temple somewhere. Now it was time to master those skills and make them combat-ready. Finally, he fired his Arcane shot, which blew a bullet of Arcane Energy from his fist.

[Tom Bluemann]

"Whoa!". I jump out of the way of the energy coming toward me. "Nice attack, I can do that too!" I focus a bit of my life energy at my fingertips. "Bang". A small blast of life energy fires at my opponent.

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling barely missed the energy burst when he too jumped out of the way. "Life energy?" He thought as he created another strategy.

[Tom Bluemann]

I charge at my opponent ready for close quarters combat. "You better be able to hold your own without the range that staff gives you!"

[Nikolai Forge]

Sterling chuckled, "I won't need it for ranging......because I'll simply use it as a Melee weapon!" As soon as the word left his mouth, Sterling aimed a swing at his opponent.
